This is an excellent book for teaching pedorthics to student pedorthists as well as teaching the medical profession about pedorthics. I commend you; you have done an outstanding job with great detail It should be required reading for all practicing pedorthists as well.

You have put together an excellent textbook that will be a great supplement to the pedorthic pre-certification courses. I also think your text would be important for podiatry students to help them appreciate and understand the application of pedorthics for lower extremity pathology. This is an area that has been sorely lacking in the curriculum and I think the time is right to teach the importance of podiatric and pedorthic disciplines working closely together for optimal patient care. I think that your book will help to accomplish that goal.

…(I) found that it had what no other pedorthic text has, it first explained the pathologies in good detail, and outlined the pedorthic approach for teratmetn in a simple outline form, much like a study sheet. Wayne and Dr. Albert have handed pedorthics the missing tool. Contemporary Pedorthics is a must for anyone involved in the non-operative treatment of the foot and ankle.
